I love you for saying this. Don't give in to the peer pressure! You know those wheels want a nice coat of something non-white (bronze, black, gunmetal) on them.
Not gold. Bronze or gunmetal/anthracite are the only ways to go. Very nice wheels btw, I've always loved SSRs
niiice. White would look good, just a pita to keep clean. All the colors are played though...paint them something crazy
Congrats on the SSR's, they're great looking wheels. I would personally go with gold or bronze, it seems to be a good combination with the blue. I would be interested to know which place are you gonna use to get them painted as i might be doing something similar myself.
Don't go bronze, I'm going bronze. Hopefully if everything gets in by next saturday, I'll have the new wheels on with Azenis. I'd say put white, bring it to a meet and let us vote.
If you did the black roof thing then black might look awesome... It would be "murdered out" in a manner of speaking.
never understood the conecpt of "murdered out" ssh: maybe unless it's a all black car with all black everything like Milo's???
I am leaning more and more towards the anthracite. And no, I will not mount tires on the white wheels and then pay to dismount them so they can be painted...waste of dough.
Sorry. I finally know where the WRXAtlanta boundaries are! And yeah, definitely the gunmetal/anthracite.
I wanted something different on the car again, tired of the stockers. Just use these for daily driving
With all the black consoles floating around I thought we should try something a little different. I believe we have received inquiries regarding wrapping these pieces in the past and my answer was usually a resounding "no". The reason was clearance between the pieces and ensuring that it fit "factory" back into the dash. Well, we were able to remove a portion of the black on the Alcantara material which allowed us to squeeze it all in there. There is no pricing on this as of yet. Our goal was simple with this. We wanted to do something similar to that of the Limited / Spec C consoles that would cost around the same if not less than purchasing OEM. Granted you can always DIY black all of the pieces but whoever said that is fun? Oh, and please do not mind the defi wiring mess. I am in the middle of re-running all the wires. This is the first run through, here's what I want to change on the next go around. Purchase the aluminum trim ring for the shifter Purchase the limited black dials and silver rings Do something slightly different regarding the cutout for the auto temp sensor Cheers, alex
Alex, how did the Z interior go. Weren't you doing one some time ago. I would love to see pics of that.
Yes...it is! I could never have something that nice in my car...oh yeah, Alex doesn't even let drinks near his car.
