When hard accelerating, such as 3/4 ~ WOT, since I got back from my trip, the car shifts very badly from 1st.

I'm not even power braking from a stop. If I get on the gas, it used to shift itself smoothly from 1 to 2 just as the needle hit 6500. Now it revs past that, feeling like its lingering out of gear for a moment, red-lines itself, then shifts REALLY hard thump into 2nd. All other transitions are smooth still, even downshifts.

    opnions? causes? :(

if you dont see any real slipping it SHOULD be fine. could be the new fluid causing some issues.. i say drive it around for 1k-2k miles.. and then see check if everything is not fine

Doesnt matter. If an auto is going out the clutchpacks will leave material in the fluid which will assist with line pressure, once you swap fluids you lose that and the tranny begins to slip until it dies. I hope that yours holds up since you're relatively stock.

Sucks to think that among the bulletproof 4eats, i get one that can't even take below stage 1 for 30k...

anything I can do to further diagnose? like oil analysis or something?
