thinking about a new paint job, thoughts?

    I am thinking of doing a new paint job. here are a few pictures of what it could look like. I am trying for something clean. (still have alot of work to do at the moment) I am liking the black roof however. So guys, too racer? so far its better than the ghost flames that the shop had originally recommended. The BMW was the inspiration for the paint.

    I know ArtCraft could probably hook the stripes up for a great price :)

    I've already got the car ripped down for paint, its more of a question of what to do with it now... The whole car is getting a fresh coat

    I really like the way a black roof looks, especially with a CF hood and hatch. Stripes not so much.

    Whatever you do, go with something original. I've seen pics of olive green and gunmetal WRXs that look very good. The blue that BMW puts on the new 335s is a very nice color IMO.

    I am all for custom paint, but the racing stripes are very ricer nowadays.

    I prefer subtlety. However, I absolutely love the green RS color that Ive only seen a handful of times and never on a WRX. Green with the black roof and polished alum. roof rails with a light tint overlay on the tails, full alcantara interior and a complete s2000 retrofit with perhaps a slightly green bezel would truly be unique :D

    originally I was going to do silver again. but now I am thinking of doing a different color. I found a nice sepang Bronze wagon or nasioc. problem is I have gunmetal prodrive wheels on it so i am Staying away from a BMW Dolphin gray metalic.

    No pink! Paint is done and it looks great! went with Audi RS4 silver, with a hotrod flat black roof.

    Shmali has yet to get the pictures off his camera. we took some at the Ru Sans in Buckhead... When I get them I'll post up.

    Nice color choice.....waiting on pics!

    I want to do my car a two tone. Some thing like a black roof and top with some DEEP purple or something like that.

    I saw it on Sunday when we cleared his headlights, it looked really nice! There's already a dent for a battle scar.
