Well I just got a call from the shop about my cars problems which they are going to look at the turbo, but they also said I need a clutch, which is has 88k miles on the stock clutch so I don't doubt it.

anyway, what have you guys seen price wise for clutch replacement and do you suggest going with something other than stock? the car is stock and I doubt I will ever do anything more than stage 2. also do you suggest I get anything done while they are doing that, like replacing the fly wheel?

    Thanks for your advise.

I would say get a stock or maybe a Stage 1 clutch. While you are at it I would replace the flywheel, TOB, and Pilot Bearing.

I would do the ACT street disk, very nice easy clutch to drive but it will take lots of power. Ill have one in stock next week.

x2. I replaced my stocker with this when the time came, and I have been more than happy with it.

it looks like the price difference between the Exedy oem clutch kit and an ACT clutch kit is about $200-300 is it worth it? for the difference I could get a lighter flywheel.

+1 on SPEC but I am a little biased since the owner of the company was my roommate in college. I have a stage 3+ w/ lightweight flywheel sitting in garage waiting for someone to put it in.
