Well its official, i have payed 405 for premium gas. not like i bought my car for its gas mileage but geeze... and without further adu...."BOHICA" whats prices like in your neck of the woods?
insert something about countries and oil production and where's the good old fashioned game of conquest here.
i am seeing a pattern, gas will drop about 5 cents penny by penny a day then shoot up 15 cents ... its crazy! i am gonna have to take out a loan to buy gas... teleworking ftw
Spent $3.85 in Athens today. Saw one place on 129 for $3.65 still, but most places in Athens seem to hike up the prices also.
NO ^^^ I Hade no luck with the lotto. I spent $30 dollars for 8 gallons at QT today. $4.05 a gallon. .
gas will continue to go up until demand goes down, because the OPEC barons have made it quite clear they don't feel like increasing supply
It's not just OPEC. Poor little BP who doesn't use Saudi oil only turned in profits of $7.6 BILLION for the 1st quarter in 2008.
demand isnt going to go down unfortunately, unless places start putting in better mass transit systems like new york and DC have. until them people are going to continue to drive like this.
or move, or get a job closer to home... or car pool....or change cars. ;p any of these things will help drop demand without public transit. Because people in Marietta aren't about to let a Marta rail line get built in their side of town if they can help it...
i could take almost a %20 pay cut if I lived 5 minutes next to my job, considering what i pay in gas expenses
not to alpharetta! i would take public transit at this point..just because the cost of gas and the mileage im putting on my car
I was just in Havelock, NC and get this, gas is still about 3.65 there. And movies are still only $5.65 a ticket although the theatre was a piece of shit.
Werd! No Marta to Duluth. :wtc: I refuse to live in Duluth. Anyway, moving outside the city would add to my gas burden, not reduce it. Most of my driving comes in going to see friends ect. Those are short runs now. It wasn't that bad when I had the Vibe and lived in Duluth, but I still racked up about 100 more miles a week then than I do now.
yes...yes I am going shopping for used honda civic hyrbids this weekend...this is getting ridiculous!!
nice. how much will that run you, $10k? for about a 15 mpg increase? calculate how many years it will take you to break even on that (it's probably more than five)
