Yea im not just into normal alternative rock, im into death/harcore metal too. I checked them out, their songs are pretty dope. I forgot about 30secs to mars lol. The others are pretty good too. No Bare Naked Ladies? Or Green Day? R.E.M ? Rage against the Machines? Metallica? I listen to anything Rock, Alternative, Metal. Rap and Hip hop has just become a broken record to me.

also, good call on apocalyptica. their metallica covers are awesome. I have all their albums if you want. same with rhapsody death metal is pretty gay, too much growling into the mic and it doesn't sound like music at all. oh, angra is pretty awesome too IF you can find any of their stuff. and don't forget about dream theater
Death metal isn't all that bad. Dimmu Borgir is my favorite death metal band. But I know what you mean about them growling and shit lol. Slipknot and other bands like that are not real death metal, they're just some guys pretending to be wicked. But eh, I listen to that style once in awhile, not everyday. Also, Angre's Nova Era is pretty good. I haven't heard of them til now, I'll check more of their stuff later. Dream theater is dope. A nice addition to my list.

I've strayed from "traditional alternative" to something "truly alternative" over the last year or so. Some of these band require two listens to appreciate, totally worth it though. I got to see Apocalyptica when they came to the station (Project 961) a couple weeks ago. They are awesome live. By far the best thats been by so far.

Everytime i Die Norma Jean Killswitch Engage Throwdown Maylene and the Sons of Disaster Underoath My Children my Bride Twelve Tribes It Dies Today Haste the Day Irreversible (Awesome ass guitar, but no vocals.....literally almost 8 minutes of bad ass guitar per song) I Set my friends on fire (only cause i think that stupid soulja boi song sounds sooo much better when screamed)
