I have been wondering about something for a while, but up till just now at this minute I have not been bored enough to try and find the answer. In December I flashed my car to stage one and eventually stage two with an AP V2. The day after I went to stage one I noticed my headlights no longer turned off when I raised the emergency brake. I am wondering if anyone else had noticed this or if my parking brake sensor failed by happenstance the day after the flash? I like to let my car warm up for a while before I take off but it is somewhat annoying to blind other drivers while I do so.

The Daytime running lights turned off with the e-brake. Just unplug the DRL's and you wont have any confusion lol

There seems to be some confusion. I too keep my lights on 24/7 but when my e-brake is on the lights "should" go off but since I flashed my car they no longer go off. What could be causing my e-brake to no longer turn the lights off?

when the light switch is on, the ebrake does not turn them off. It only turns off the Daytime Running Lights

The first year I owned my car the e-brake turned off my headlights "as in all the lights."

  10. I think it was not supposed to .Usu. the e-brake only turns off the d.r.l.'s.not the real lights if on.

Well I guess it was a happy mistake but I got used too it and now it's different. All I did was flash my car. I wonder what I could have changed when I was pawing through under my dash trying to find all the plugs.
