What's the big benefit of each and how is one better than other?
As silly as it might sound....i can turn my HKS SSQ into recirculated within secs and without the attachment. I lost the little tube on which the vacuum hose goes over and now it has a little plastic piece. If i push it in all the way, it cuts off my BOV and everything gets vented out of my intake (you can hear it pretty well). And then if i push it back out a little, on comes the BOV.

whoa whoa whoa, your BOV/recird valve isn't lifting?

you can hear it coming BACK out the intake?

not very good for turbo longetivity

i can choose to do that...yea i heard that it's not good for the turbo. I am just gonna stick with to atmosphere.

you need to plumb a vacuum line to it, otherwise it will leak under boost slightly.

Its been covered a million times. Subarus hate full atmosphere BOVs and will run like shit with them but a 100%atm bov is much better than running one the way you've got it where its blowing off through the intake. Thats just going to bend the fins on the turbo by adding backwards pressure to the entire system, GUYS HAVE BLOWN MOTORS FROM DOING THIS, not just killed turbos.

Set it up for recirc and be surprised at how much better your car drives.
