I just hope its more reliable for Petter than the WRC2007 has been. I also hope it does not slow Atkinson down. I want to see him finish in the top 3 in the driver's standings.
That wing is a little crazy but I think it is a hot looking hatch! Still has the nasty tail lights though :barf:
I'm stoked to see it perform. Wonder what the weight is? Extra driving lights for night stages? Wonder where the intercooler is? Why no scoop? Front end looks amazingly stock too...
Not the top WRC cars. I forget what they classify them as. It has what appears to be a large vent where the scoop would be to let heat out.
The wing is hideous, but I'm sure it's functional. And functionality is obviously what Subaru is shooting for with wrc.
Anyone know where I can catch the race or where i can download it if it's not being aired here? Someone needs to host it or something.
SPEED used to carry the WRC races regularly, that was awesome. I heard that the WRC refused to advertise in the states so thier viewership went down and SPEED had to drop thier contract with them. Best case now is probably clips off the net? Not sure, but I'm interesting in seeing some prorally action too!
VS did it for a season like 2 years ago. i am not sure if they still do it. they cover the US rallies everyonce in a while also.
thats it? what a disappointment. It looks the same as the road car... At least with the previous versions it was painfully obvious that it was 'something special' but not this one.
That thing looks amazing. I, for one, love the wing. They should offer a toned down version for the STi. Yeah yeah I know..."Ricer."
Did they move the intake from the hood scoop area? IIRC the last wrc car had a front mount and a massive filter set at the hood scoop.
I like it. I want to see it perform though, speed channel sucks now all I ever see on there is NASCAR.
Speed does suck. I loved speedvision, all types of racing, planes, motorcycles, boats, etc. Anything built for speed. When they signed with nascar they promised to run at minimun eight hours of nascar related shows everyday of the year. Last tuesday around lunch time I did catch a rerun of an F1 race, but beyond that its trash.
