How many CCA does the stock battery run? A lot of people on the RS websites are using this battery http://www.batteryconcepts.net/yuasa/ub12180.html Any thoughts? $35 for 20pounds of weight savings
I would prefer a dry battery instead of lead acid. It is not as cheap though. I had the odyssey in my last car similar to what Buschar Racing has. I picked mine up at Summit racing for about $65. I think that one had 680 CCA for automotive applications. http://www.odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc680series.htm
When I was out in LA I picked up the lightest braille racing battery, good god that thing is light (~10lbs or so). I know they make other options and they have some sort of warranty associated with them. check 'em out
I too have used the PC680 for years in different cars, NEVER a problem. If airplanes trust it, so can I. Braille is over-hyped marketing BS IMO.
