Hmmm. I might be down to go, I've been wanting to go back again so bad but my car hasn't been in good enough shape. It should be by then.

There will be a few. Many head out Sunday morning after the photo(if we have one this year). I know Matt and I will be around. I don't plan on leaving till Monday morning/early afternoon.

No worries there. I am heading down there on Saturday night or early Sunday morning, after work. I will be back on Sunday night or Monday afternoon. I will take pictures of this single STI cruise to Panama City and back.

Well, I guess I am the first one to post. It was a great time. Much smaller group than previous years. Matt,Russ...the 2008 WRX is the worst car I have ever driven from a driver's car/sporty car point of view. It was horrid.
5 door. I could not believe how numb the steering was or how little feel there was in the seat. I felt totally isolated from the road. It felt awful. The STI is the only car most of us would want and its so expensive not everyone can afford it.
2 things...1) They were closed today and 2) They wanted more for it than I wanted to pay. The price was about $1000 less than a 08 STI and I would prefer to have the hatch over the sedan. If the price had been significantly lower I would have gotten the sedan anyway. I am leaning heavily toward a MS3 now. I am going to the local Mazda tomorrow. I am also going to see about financing with my bank and see if they have better terms that will get me into an 08 STI anyway. I am not totally lost to the Mazda world, but Subaru is not making it easy to come back. The WRX was bad. It really felt numb in every way. Its not sporty in anyway as far as I can tell.
Sorry I missed this trip. Anyone going in June/July? How were the cops? Any tickets? No accidents I hope? Would love to swap with someone who's got a well modded previous gen WRX/STi just to feel the difference!
