has anyone heard of this or know anyone that is using it, it's offered by blouch turbo.
just the compressor upgrade is $325 or with a full rebuild for $599. does it sound worth it, or is a 16g a better investment.

can't you get a VF39 (STI turbo) for around $300?

The TD04 upgrade doesnt really seem like the best bang for the buck...unless you are really wanting to keep the TD04

I think good ones usually run about 600 dollars. I wouldn't use a vf39 I bought for 300 unless it was from someone I knew very well.

I stand corrected, I guess. I suppose I was just talking about what they go for from people who you aren't friends with. I've seen them around 550-600. :dunno

that is what I thought too, but I just took a look at the FS threads on NASIOC and IWSTI and it seems like $500ish is the norm now

I guess prices have changed quite a bit over the past few years haha

either way...I don't think the upgraded TD04 is worth it...

$500 for a VF39? lol those go for $250-350 every day. $600 can almost get an Evo3 16G.

I ran an upgraded td04. It was not worth the money or effort.
