Radiator Swappin'.

So since, as many of you know, my radiator very well might be dead, I'd like to just grab YungDz's old WRX radiator. Anyone know how I would do this swap? I know it is indeed possible... :sx:

 

hook up the coolant hoses and uh attach the radiator to the car, and the fans. ziptie it if you have to.

 

right, but I'm non-turbo. Apparently there's like a reservoir or some shit that I need to worry about.

 

Check the location of the hoses. Make sure they're in the same place. I think it's different.

 

the problem is the wrx radiator does not have a cap on it. Instead the cap goes onto a reservoir that routes the coolant to the turbo. Xan's N/A car does not have this reservoir.

 

Just buy a mishimoto radiator off ebay

 

Yeah, but I wanna move my radiator cap also. I know this has been done.

plus after the last time I left the cap off and got a coolant geyser I'm sure I'd notice
