So I sold my STi a year ago to a guy in AL. The other day, I spot it on autotrader for sale. Now, it only has 23k and it's an 05'. I regret selling her and now I am considering buying it back. Has anyone else done this before?lol I know what I have done to it, and the guy I bought it is 35 years old, married and seems he took care of it. Hell, he only put 4k miles on it. It was tuned by scott, and has the exact mods I like. Crazy. What would you do???

Yep, I would buy it back too if you were already wanting another STI, why buy a car with an unknown past?

    I'd buy it back.

Its not uncommon to see this...between JWX and myself I think we've sold and purchased/traded cars back and forth about 20 times.

I think you can probably get it for less than 24k.

Lately 05 STi's have been selling pretty close to 20-21k

really? i went on autotrader and put 05' and average i saw was 24-25k. so 20-21k is what i should be asking??? you guys know more than me since i had my Cobra for a year, and have been out of the subie world for a bit.

From what I have seen lately, they have been going a little cheaper....depending on the mods/condition 23k might be a better number

it's an 05', stage II ecutek (tuned by SS), helix dp, greddy evo II cb, perrin ebcs, drop k&n filter and thats pretty much it. it has roughly 25k miles and is in very good condition (exception of dent on trunk from when he owned it). okay, i am going to counter offer 23k. i hope i don't insult the dude.lol wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!

well i offered the 23k, and he said he wasn't prepared to sell it at that price. he said he would get back to me if he decided. if it was meant to be, he'll call me back...if not then i guess it wasn't.
