Actually I was referring to the big 16g under the hood of my wrx which I believe is the same turbo that lies under the hood of some model year Evo's. My favorite Evo is the Evo 9, but the 8's are nice as well.

However I did not know that 03's are 8's so you got me there

the evo 9 turboes have 10.5 cm/* hotside and the 8 turboes have 9.8cm/* hotside.

other than that unless its a jdm turbo its same.
