I want to see what it does to the curves towards the top, if it changes anything at all. I got some cams cheap and figured I'd put them in while the engine's out.
Saw they were giving you a hard time on NASIOC. I really did not see any reason that thread should have been closed....thought that was kinda bullsh!t.
the nasioc search function is a joke. I don't have a graph, but it's a nice little bump. if you have em and the motor is out, drop em in
Actually, in all seriousness, the first time Doug tuned a Legacy GT with the 5AT, when the TQ converter locks at WOT, it makes a loop in the TQ plots. I was 'ing over that.
he's not too bad in person. I lived down the street from him, but he is an arrogant asshole when he really doesn't know THAT much about subarus. writing watered down FAQs and talking to vendors all day doesn't give you an automotive engineering degree. I blame it on the fact that he's a surface sailor. those guys are dicks.
Been looking to find a set cheap for my build. Either those or some of the earlier Sti non-avcs cams.
I'll post up some awesome loop plots. When a cluch slips at peak tq you get some cool shapes. We had a Blouch "Polka Pickle" make some cool loops right at 455 wft-lbs last week... it sounds cool when it happens too Siegel
Sure you can....you cap off the AVCS holes and voila you are done. WJM even has a how on here somewhere.
I thought there was a fitment issue, but apparently I was wrong It happened once last year too Fortunately nobody was killed  Siegel
