I think subaru finally stepped up their advertising game...gotta bunch of vid clips of 07-previous sti's flippin...crashing...etc....anyways. BAMFing commercial!..oh and sorry if I didn't post in right area..on the celly..bare w/ me!
they have been playing that one during the NHL playoffs, i have to admit thats one of the best subaru commercials i have seen in years

The commercial was great but all they did was powerslide the 08. The 07's looked (and were) badass and the 08 came off a little tame. I want to see some 08 carnage!
give them another year they just came out with the 08 rally car. Travis will do something stupid in it.
Yea, the WRC '08 car was run last weekend in Greece, and next weekend in Turkey. I didn't catch last weekend's rally yet, but with Petter's luck so far this year, I wouldn't be surprised if there were already some '08 carnage.

actually, i don't even see mitsu listed under the teams lineup. and i'm going to keep an eye on the suzuki. if they end up doing for performance cars what they did for sport bikes, i might consider them when they grow up. because we at least get suzuki here. no citroen, and no ford (the stuff they (EU) get over there is WAY better than what we have over here) it really chaps my ass...
I don't think Mitsu has been running in the WRC for a couple years now. I started paying attention in '05 or '06 and don't remember them being there since back then. Yea, a quick look on wikipedia shows that '05 was Mitsu's last WRC...
I love all of Subaru's racing-related advertising. And the vid footage of a race driver drifting the car on pavement. Then wait until all the people buying STis bring their car in with a problem and get the run-around from ultra-stingy Subaru saying that it must be related to "abuse".
Notice in small print at the bottom: "Do not attempt. Really. Do not do this" It's another case of do what I say, but don't do what I do :rofl:
