I know the game is old, but everyone seems to have it. We have started a league at work and I wanted to extend the invitation to ANYONE who "thinks" that they can really drive. Unlike Andretti's...I am not allowed to put people into the wall. :hsnono: So, we race every other Tuesday night. Next race is on 9/30...the server will be up for practice right up to the race. We are racing the Toyota Atlantic Series right now...but, the next session will be the STi's (You will need to download these). Let me know if you wanna race and I'll send you the info! Thanks, Matt ***Post #10 has the rules and schedule!***
here are the schedule and rules... We will be running races every second Tuesday night starting at 8:30pm beginning on 9-16-2008. First track up will be Laguna Seca. The schedule is as follows. 9-30-2008 Hidden Valley Raceway 10-14-2008 Road America Elkhart Lake - GP Course 10-28-2008 Virginia International Raceway Full Course 11-11-2008 Watkins Glen - GP Course 11-25-2008 VIR - North Course 12-9-2008 Road America - Elkhart Lake Full Course 12-23-2008 VIR - South Course 1-6-2009 Watkins Glen - Long Course During the 2 weeks leading up to the event the server will be set up in a practice only configuration. All practice must be done connected to the server. This gives you almost 2 full weeks to learn the track, work on setup and get your skills improved and ready for battle. Race day will include a 15 minute warmup session. A 20 minute Qualifying session plus the actual race. Race length will determined by course length and total laps adjusted to keep the race time under an hour. Your game needs to be set to Semi-Pro to find the server in the game lobby. Rules: I'll keep this simple. 1. No intentional crashing. Accidents happen but taking someone out intentionally will get you kicked from the race. 2. 1 mandatory pit stop per race. All drivers must pit at least once during the race no matter the length of the race. 3. Race winner will incur a 25 lbs weight penalty for the following race. If he wins the following race another 25 lbs penalty will be incurred. Driver assists will be allowed on the server. That's it. The server will run the rest of the racing rules. I have setup a TeamSpeak server for our use during the practice and the events. You can download the TemSpeak client from here ---> http://www.goteamspeak.com

If warhammer wasn't in full swing I would consider joining. I have the game but not installed. Jason, buy my copy for 10 bucks. Then you can play with these guys.
For those of you that would like to race...we have about 10 spots open. Please go to http://liveview.homedns.org to register. Then PM me your email address so I can confirm you. Live View will allow you to set up your profile and monitor everyones track times and such in "Almost" real-time. Please try to use the same username for the game, live view and Teamspeak.
