I need a job

So the economy SUCKS right now as everyone knows. Being a server, I am getting hit pretty hard. everyone is cutting their discretionary spending and not eating out. I made a whopping $4 at lunch today. Basically I am looking for anything not involved in retail. I have over 6 years of retail experience and that is 6 years too long. I have worked in Construction, Sales, Food Service, Consumer Electronics, Customer Service, and Entry Level Retail Management. I am currently taking a Pharmacy Technician Certification course at KSU and will be getting certified/getting a job as a CPhT in November. Basically I'm looking for something Monday thru Friday 9-5 (very flexible), so that I can still work weekends at On The Border. It would more than likely be something temporary till late November/early December (till I get my permanent job). Sure I could pick up more/better shifts but its still serving and still not a garunteed paycheck. Unfortunately bill collectors need lots of money from me. I'm looking for anything that is ~40hrs a week at NO LESS than $10-12 an hour.

Ha nah, he knew coming in that I was eventually going to cut down to weekends only. I'm still working there full time till I can find something else.


I'd like to go ahead and get a job as a pharmacy tech, but I know that I will get screwed out of a raise once I get certified in November.

 

Nah, I understand what he is going through. We have taken a little bit of a sales decrease over the past 3 weeks.

 

Try get a job at Costco... I know it is retail, but they make like $15 an hour.

 

I need something with a set weekly schedule. That is why retail won't work. They won't let me have the weekends off (to work at on the border), if they do then they'd make me part time and therefore I wouldn't be assured of enough hours.

Trust me I know how this works. I've been in retail management before
