I had a great time this year! It was good to see everyone, and thank you for being so inviting! I wish I could just sit still for a little bit, and hang out, but I can never stay in one place for more than about 15 minutes at the races.
I really wish they would build some better seating. like on the hill at turn 5 on the outside of the track, or on the outside of the track at 8/9 if it gets any bigger they are going to HAVE to expand the track
I spotted a WRXAtlanta shirt on someone in the Porsche hospitality tent but by the time I made it to that side of the room, they were gone. Who was it?
Hey guys, we enjoyed the race but never found you on Sat. We walked around the track and through the skid pad area about 2pm but never saw more than one or two occasional Suby's. I don't think we went into the exact middle of the skid pad, but I was expected to see a group of Suby's somewhere? I was constantly amazed by the purr of the Audi's and then the roar of the Vette's, etc. trying to catch up! :lol: Great stuff! Great photo's too!
hey patrick, we were at the skidpad at 6/7 in the center. there were 4 cars parked behind the RV (only place to park) and were hanging out there for a good bit of the race.
Matt, did you use the hospitality pass I left you? It was fun hanging out with you guys on Sat. Thanks for letting me crash.
Hey everyone... Just wanted to say it was a pleasure meeting those of you who were over at the skidpad. I was the guy in the white overshirt who hung around for about fifteen or twenty minutes and talked Subies for a bit. Wish I could have hung around and gotten to know y'all better... it's just that my "tribe" down at the bottom of the esses was waiting on me and I hated to bail on them. Maybe next year I can show up and bring a keg or something. Awesome race this year, and you guys had some beautiful cars. Now all I can do is wait for the 24 hrs of Daytona!!!
three of us were at a wedding we all totally (almost) forgot about for an old friend...others were at football games...others said they'd never go back because their bikes/atvs were impounded last year for various reasons. basically, everyone bitched out
