prep for tuning

    im getting tuned on wed and i was wondering if there is anything i should do to prep for tuning?

    where are you getting tuned? I got it done at topspeed... and went in there with QT gas, which Scott hates. It was implied the tuning would have went a little better with Shell, so thats a factor you need to consider..

    new plugs.

    new oil helps as well.

    yes scott is doing the tune... he perfers shell gas? i actually have never been found of shell gas ever since i ended up with water in my gas from shell a while back....

    Sorry to thread jack, but what's the difference? If the octane ratings are the same and both shell and QT have the same sulfur / ethanol blends, what makes one better than the other (other than price)?

    The water content and actual octane ratings differ pretty greatly between stations... Mid-west Shell 91 is more knock-resistant than Atlanta QT 93.
