I think its pretty damn sweet... but what are you going to use it for? Its a bit extensive for a DD, and a bit too pretty for an autocross car(IMO)...

Yeah, thats a lot of cheddar... but to think what all those mods cost him... That Stage whatever performance upgrade is crazy $$$. Those R32's (even 04's) hold their value really well, I'd bet that same R32 with no mods would get close to that amount.

SERIOUSLY! A C5 or C6 Corvette would be better than anything mentioned in this thread so far.

I've been there done that with Subarus. I'd consider an Evo also. Since we already have one two-seater I need something somewhat practicle. Though a Z06 would be tons of fun.

NICE! I love those. I was going to get an R when I bought my STi, but they were way too expensive at the time. So, I was looking at another 20th anniv., but only wanted a jazz blue and couldn't find one anywhere. I had an imola yellow one back in '03 and LOVED it, but quit my job and needed to cut my expenses. I really regret selling it... it was a blast to drive. And so much room with the seats down!

But really my deciding factor was the repair costs and the price of mods. I thought about it again when I was shopping for the forester, but VW with no warranty is a BAD idea for me. I figure I'll buy one when I get a real job and don't have to worry about money as much.

Only the 04's hold their value, alot of 08's are selling for only a little more than a low millage 04's... but in general, .:R32's were on the edmunds list of top 10 best resale value cars...

Go for it, you will love the fit and finish of the interior. I remember looking at that car after i had just bought mine... its a good deal for whats installed, but I personaly wouldnt buy a car that modded... but thats just me. Other than that I love it and I think you would too.
