I have a user interested in my Powerslot big brake kit that is up for sale. http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22303

The guy who is interested in the kit wanted to know if it will work on his '05 RS. I didn't know the answer.

Are the '05 RS and '02 WRX brakes very different?

His specfic question to me was..."Would I only need to get WRX brackets to use the kit?"

    Anyone?

They are the same calipers. He'd be using the brackets that you supply with your kit.

Well yeah, but I guess his question was wether or not the stock brackets are the same...you say yes.

    Thanks!

The rotors and brackets are different though.

So, then no they are not the same...?

The brackets that come with the powerslot kit bolt up to the stock caliper brackets...they piggy back off of the stock brackets...like a bracket sandwich...so if the brackets on the RS are different from the brackets on the WRX, then the kit might not match with the RS.
