I'm groovin' to the Desert Sessions. I found all 10 vol. If you don't know what it's all about, the Wiki page does a fantastic job explaining what it's all about. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_Sessions Metal will never die!! Also, diggin' on a few Swedish metal bands as of late. check out Truckfighters http://www.myspace.com/truckfighters
Saul Williams – The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust This album's awesome. www.saulwilliams.com
Holy shit, can you burn those or email them to me? I'd pay money for them, Kyuss rocks my face off. Currently listening to one of the songs off the Travis Barker/ DJAM Fix Your Face album. Nice, just saw we're rocking out to the same beat. I cant get over the Dramarama sample in the last track, fuckin classic.

Colt Ford FTW!! Rap and country mixed that actually sounds decent. Listen to "Ride through the Country." Its pretty good.
I have never heard of most of these people. most of what I listen to these days are powermetal stuff but its starting to get old.. pandora can do that to you. dragonforce sonata arctica hammerfall etc. etc. I also like the legends of country george strait, jones, garth brooks, randy travis, the good stuff.. rascall flatts sucks. I cant believe the garbage they call "country" now. some techno stuff, no artist preference.. infected mushrooms ok I gues.. I like to spend time on www.8bitpeoples.com too.. bitshifter, rushjet, and mesu kusamai (sp) are very good at what they do.
Playlist mix with Godflesh, Kyuss, Helmet, Torche, and the Sword. Solid stoner metal destroys my hangover.:fawk:
hellz yeah! The Sword is great. you diggin' the Desert Sessions? there are some freakin' great songs in there.
Not yet, a couple of the files were corrupt so I decided to torrent them on my own. i was too busy with finals last week and too busy drinking this week to sit and listen through them. i'll try to get around to them within the next few days. Superdude, you restore my confidence that I'm not alone in liking grungy psychadelic metal. metal that isnt played by metrosexual scene kid hairdresser lookalikes (aka most metalcore the Hot Topic kids listen to these days, As I lay dying, august burns red :weaksauce). metal thats back to the roots the way Sabbath laid it down. And metal that is not so full of itself and its own wankery that its hard to enjoy (like Dragonforce, Dream Theater, etc). Just great metal that keeps it real and doesnt front. Sex, drugs, and metal! Black Sabbath did it in the 70s, Motorhead did it in the 80s, Kyuss did it in the 90s, Torche and the Sword have been carrying the torch for the last few years.
Gabe Bondoc recently. Hes not signed yet, but has a good following so far. All his music is on youtube. I've learned most of his originals on guitar.
Wow. I'm surprised there is anyone who knows him. You should listen to some more of his stuff. Or get it off pirate bay. :hsnono:
