I had to drive on a gravel road today as part of work... and unfortunately I ran over a big rock. :unamused:

The rock has put a big dent in my Turbo XS 4" down pipe. The dent is about an inch deep and about two inches long and is at the neck of the down pipe just before it meets up with the cat (the lowest part, go figure).
I am pissed... but that is irrelevant.

I am running a 20G with a large TMIC and a Protune (thanks Scott  )

Will this crushed/dented down pipe hurt my car by affecting the tune?
Do I need to get this fixed? or just run with it knowing that I have some more restriction due to the crushed down pipe.

I would check the flange where it bolts to the turbo. Mine had a crack in it that I figure I got bottoming out on a speed bump.

Didn't affect performance but it did cause a little extra noise.
