So whats the best alcohol to every hit your lips? I've had some Cristal (think thats how you spell it) Just got a bottle of Crown Royal XR (Extra Rare) apparently its quite good too.
In recent memory, I had some Jameson 18 year special reserve yada yada yada that was pretty spectaculor.
I've heard patron platinum is pretty amazing ($25 a shot at my place of employment, I believe). Yet I don't drink so I couldn't tell ya..lol
I had a shot of the top of the line Patron they carry at Casa Grande. I doubt it was the platinum though because I think it was more like 10-12 for the shot. I was delish though.
Yep, these 2 are the best I've tried...that's why I kept the bottles! Not cheap, but worth every $$ Someone offered me $50 for the Patron bottle, I think it's crystal.
Hmm...let me see... Johnny Walker Blue Jack Single Barrel Hendricks Gin Bushmills 10 (or something..cant remember) Macallan 18? Tons of different scotches and irish whiskeys
My friends uncle builds barrels for jack daniels, for the 100th birthday of jack daniels they gave out those like $2000 dollar bottles to people who made jack daniels possible and he got one. At thanksgiving last year i got to have a glass and it was amazing. apparently there is a list of people who have these special bottles and he gets calls all the time people wanting to buy it from him for like 6 grand and stuff. thats my fav. but if it was mine id sell it and buy a 6speed!!!

Apparently you are going to be my new IPA drinking buddy All my other friends are little girls and can't stand the stuff.
hanging out with the wrong crowd then. I have 2 120s in the fridge, and some Titan IPA from great divide. brett and I are probably the biggest hopheads you'll meet anyway: johnny walker blue appleton 30 year master blenders legacy taylor fladgate vintage port remy martin king louis XIII cognac (about $2,000 a bottle)
Yes it is that good. You can't really even call it a beer at that high of alcohol percentage, it is closer to a brandy. If you have the means, I definitely recommend you pick one up Like I said at the shop, any time you want to go to the brick store pub, I am in for it. Yep, quite a hophead here I could have kept going and going, but I didn't think it was necessary. If anyone wants a recommendation on a hoppy beer, just ask
Its not just all about the AMOUNT of hops in the beer, its all about what KIND of hops are matched to the grain in question. Spatan Marzen is the king of the hill imo.
Where do you guys get the Dogfish Head 120 from? I can't find anywhere down here that has it. I have had the 60 and 90, and only heard about the 120.
Special order online is the only way I have gotten it. There are a few specific sites who will ship to Georgia, just gotta find the right ones
I have a hard time remembering what I had, but it came in a small brown bottle and had the word isopropyl on the side of it. Stuff burns.
I had a glass of Louis XIII from the Atlanta Four Seasons at my cousins wedding. My wealthier cousin charged it to his Dads card.
I dont believe you, considering its illegal to sell it here. I want proof, and if your right than athens here i come... liquidsolutions.com will ship it here, thats were i ordered mine from about a year ago. My roommate went up north a few weeks ago so i had him pick me up a few bottles... I have eight 120 minutes in my fridge now... I am going to try to age a few this time if i can keep from drinking them. They are the best hands down.
I really don't know what exactly they are classified as, but after spending a good portion of the summer in England, I've really grown fond of the "smooth flow" style of beers. Beers like Guinness and Bodingtons. There were tons of varieties in the pubs.
boddingtons is an english pale ale. it and guinness come in cool cans, and the nitrogen dispensing system is what makes the silky texture
Do you know if there is a special name for nitrogen beers? There were a few others I drank this summer that were also delicious (Tetley's was great, and there was some hobglobin that was excellent). The kind that have that frothy, creamy head that never goes away.
I don't drink alcohol, but if I had to rate a beer, it would definitely be Chimay....top notch...or Weihenstephan Hefeweizen. Mark
