I guess its time to start a thread about these since they should be ready shortly The kits will be made with 304 Mandrel Bent Stainless. Uppipe and Downpipe are both made with a single piece of tubing, no cuts or welds. Both two bolt and three bolt uppipe flanges will be available so you guys with GT-Spec Headers will be able to go rotated, there is no extra charge for this. Upipes will be availble with traditonal 4 bolt flanges, Tial V-Band flanges, as well as the new Borg Warner Flanges Downpipes will be available with a 4 bolt Garrett discharge, Tial Vband, and Borg Warner flanges. All kits will use Tial 44mm Vband Flanges and will dump to atmosphere, custom recirc is available. I'm working on getting the Maf Flanges for the intake, that will be optional since a lot of guys that run kits like this will be running Standalone ECUs. Pricing is still up in the Air a little, I don't want to put it out there until I'm sure. Questions?
Agreed..love to see price and power #'s. I needz a turbo......Sponsorship???? Built block ready fo da boostin' lol
As soon as the first Production Kit is ready Ill shoot pics. Power Output will be as good as any other kit out there, unless we are talking about the Tial kits which will be a whole different ballgame. Kits will be available at your local tuning shop when they are done. Currently that means Topspeed as they are the only ones that have commited to carry them.
Just a FYI - There is a place in utah that sells MAF flanges ready to be mounted on different size piping. I can get you the info if needed. I think they charge like $50 a flange though.
All I need is a 2.5 hybred/6sp and I will get one....................seriously though they sound awesome!
Billet Maf Flanges came in today. Waiting on one more set of Flanges for the Upipe and we will be go.
Bump I'm working on something cool for the 2.0 liter guys that want to go rotated....secret squirrel. Eddie call me....just in case you didn't see the PM
Matt's so generous that he's actually remaking them out of inconel. It's going to weight 10lbs for the whole thing and he will be slashing the price in half. PM him for details Lots and lots of pm's
I need to find a job first. One that pays at least...unlike the current situation lol Will let you know.
Actually Matt most people will not use stand-alone ECU's. Most will probably be using Cobb/Ecutek How big of a MAF intake are you planning on making?
Ill have a couple of setups available, for the stock ecu guys a 3 inch inlet with a 3 inch Maf built into the intake, for the standalone guys a 4 inch inlet will be available. The pipes are bent, but I've been talking with a new guy that will be able to handle everything in house, rather than me using a different guy for flanges, welding, piping etc, I'm very much looking foward to dealing with him. Regardless the first round will be available shortly. Matt
I'm lazy so I'm just gonna ask. 3" is what in mm? SS told me for what I'm going with I need at least a 80mm MAF.
Matt, can't wait to see the results I am sure they will be very nice. But this initial one is not using the v-band correct?
I don't think Matt owns a camera. He's made numerous posts with new products and I still have never seen anything he sells. You need a website too!
