I got Brembo front and rear slotted for WRX for under $300.

A rotor is a rotor. Get the cheapest you can find that are NOT cross drilled and/or slotted.

    Why not slotted or drilled?

Guess it really depends on what you are planning to do with the car. It does eat the pad faster. And the drilled ones I have seen have cracking issues. Have not had any issues with my slotted ones.

Slots eat pads. They do well for keeping the pad de-glazed, but if you are glazing them, you have the wrong pad for your driving conditions. Not to mention that slots eat pads.

Cross drilling does nothing. NOTHING. it just makes the rotor look 'bad ass' like other factory delivered cars, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc. The only reason those guys do it: BLING! I've heard a factory Porsche rep say so himself.
