I looked at the prices :eek3:....Looks like a classy place in a good location. I love the b-bal court and the swimming pool. You'll have to have a gtg so we all can enjoy it :naughty:

Downtown living for 140 seems like a decent deal to me, how much are the yearly dues etc....

its 300 a month for the asso. fees and right around 2400 a year tax.

300 a month is fees is kinda steep 3600 a year for fees is something I just have a hard time wrapping my head around. I would try and negotiate the fees. If you truly think you will take advantage of everything the place has to offer then it might be worth it. If I could get rid of my house I would totally be down for moving into the city...I fucking hate it out here in the sticks.

Any condo has fees like this. Even as far as Sandy Springs is 200-400 ...

Atl station is up to 500

good luck on the deal, i used to rent a "swanky" place like that and it is awesome fun. but id rather live out in the sticks with some land and be able to get wild with fire and be loud. funny as how i llive in this city right now tho. LOL

I would try to find one to rent there first. See if you like it before commiting to it. Besides the market is going to continue tanking and you'll be able to pick it up even cheaper in a year if you decide you like it.

Keep in mind, association fees will always go up in price. But I sold my house in the burbs for a condo in Dunwoody and couldn't have been happier. So do what you like

140 for a two bedroom... I might have to look into these. 500$ a Month in taxes and fees would most likely put it past how deeply invested I want to be in housing right now though.

Make sure you are able to rent.....many condo developments only allow minimum % of rentals.

The association fees sound normal to me.

    The $140k part sounds awesome!

I am starting to believe that it is an excellent time to buy an investment condo in Atlanta. Although, it might be worth waiting until Novare go bankrupt.

Offer placed.. now its a waiting game

  35. I have to agree, the 140 sounds great, but as far as the other prices, sounds a little high. I would see how far you can get them to come down on it. If they can take a good chunk out of that it would be worth it. Besides that, it had decient reviews from what I found online.
