Some one hit my car while I was at work today. Someone from one of the other stores gave me some info about the person and told me about it. I am very :unamused:. I have given my insurance all the info I have and will be filing a police report in the morning. I doubt the guy will be caught or anything. I just want her fixed. Only 2 months old and already headed to the body shop.
dude...I can honestly say I feel your pain, check out my journal to see my griefs :wtc: I'm a firm believer in Karma - what goes around comes around... Good luck w/ the fix, she'll be back to new in no time
Dude I feel your pain. My last Miata was totaled after only 6 months of ownership, this miata has been hit and run (left a nice 3 inch long gash along the side of my car), rear ended twice and most recently pounded by golf ball size hail....I have only had the car for a year and a half...hope you catch the f*cker and get the car fixed well!
I am letting the insurance and the police worry about that guy. My focus is getting her fixed as fast as possible. I hope SOA has a STI fender in stock in the US.
Stock 08 STI wheels covered in brake dust. It is only going to cost me $250. If I get that back if they catch the guy, then great, if not, I am not worried about it. I just want it fixed.
Insult to injury now... The motherboard in my main computer is crapping out. POSTing issues and dropping hard drives at random.
Damn man I hate to see this...I totaly understand your frustration... http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23551
Ouch! If your insurance says it is okay, I strongly recommend artcraft collision. Pm me if you have any questions.
With me, every new car I have ever owned has been hit by someone or something. It has never been my fault. If it is my fault then I do it right, I total it.
Or Autoglo in Tucker. They do a fantastic job, Glenn will take care of you. Granted, some times they take a little longer (like 6 weeks to fix mine), but the job was spot on and just like new. That is who SoG recommends, as well.
yes, but ArtCraft is/was a sponsor of the site....I've seen the work that both shops do and they are on par with each other.
If you bring it to ArtCraft, Alex and I will personally keep an eye on it, and the work will be done to your specs
I am taking it to a local shop that has done work for me in the past. They did good work. It is also very convenient to my home. So it is easy to drop off and pick up the car. They said that it should take 2-3 days to repair the car after I drop it off, assuming they don't have to order parts. I should have her back Thursday or Friday next week.
Insurance is taking care of everything. If things go well I will not be out of my car for long and I will not be out of pocket for too much. Thanks for all of the support. I hope that my bad luck with this car is done and I will have good luck from now on. *knocks on wood and grabs rabbit foot(even though it wasn't lucky for the rabbit)*
Well, some good news. I should have my car back no later than Wednesday. They were able to repair the fender and the car was going into paint this afternoon. I hope they did as good of a job for me as they did last time.
Thats nice to hear man! My car was taken to Magnum on 41 today and Im thinking it will be a couple weeks before I see her again But, when they work on ferrari's (there was a 308 there today) lambos and many other high end cars...I feel very confident with them. Oh! and my bad luck today...as I pull into my house I hear...phsss..fissssssssssss....Nail in the tire of the loaner LOL Plugged it and so far its holding
Yeah, I hope to get a call in the morning and get to go pick here up in the morning. Right now it looks like I will be picking it up Wednesday morning.
I picked up this morning. The car looks perfect. Candy Apple Customs in Cartersville took care of it.
