saw 3 subies.... first was a blob eye silver wrx second was a white 2.5 rs that looked to have a swap not sure third was a blue bug eye wagon that was super clean anyone here?
naw no pics... went to the event with no camera like an idiot... only had my phone.... white 2.5 had gold wheels and so did the blue wagon though... only pic i have is of the ride home with a huge tire in my lap
i believe they have it every month... when i know i will post up... its really a pretty fun event, only cost five dollars to get in...
no they give them away for free... we grabbed two forgetting we were in an s2000... managed to get one in the trunk and the other, well you see where it went... buddy is making a table out of them
Cool! what car did they come off of? Looks like the tread is gone on one side of it. Thats crazy how much tread those cars eat up lol
the white RS was more than likely revel....did it look like it had a blue pearl to the paint or did you not get up that close? Tyler is BIG into the drift scene and helps run/is part of www.driftmechaniks.com

Yea I was there in the wagon, thanks for the compliments. I don't know if we saw the same Rs, but on the 2nd day there was a swapped white one with gold wheels and black hood. I was there Saturday damnit, why didn't you see the black sedan? :rofl: I saw white 05 STi, blue '07 STi, blue '04-'05 wagon (I was parked within 20 feet of them, lol) That blue G35 v8 supercharged was SICK. Hope all of you heard the supercharger 'crying baby' sound, haha it was the best sounding car I've ever heard. I have pics and vids but they're on my gf's sister's cam, I'll see if she'll send them to me.
I was there on Saturday judging from your pics you were probably standing right next to me. Saw a couple of subies white 06 with 4 touge on the side a blue bugeye wagon with yellow fogs. That G35 was sick I think its on the cover of Import Tuner this month. Anyone see the flat black Challenger "drift" ?
That was probably the biggest Turner Field drift event I have seen yet. I bring my 3 year old daughter up every once in a while. Sunday, I passed by; parked on Fulton St ('04 WRB sedan) and watched through the barrier for a while. Pretty sure I got to see the V8 240. Very impressive handling skills! Those guys need to do noise checks. I'd hate to live in Summerhill. I live in Grant Park, over a mile away, yet can the noise is pretty loud on my front porch (actually I can hear it inside the house!). I know of lots of neighbors that hate the drift/autoX events......once a local council person or state rep gets involved....curtains. I hope that doesn't happen.
It's been going on for a few years now so I'm pretty sure they're be cool with it, unless of course you start complaining to the city... The white 06 Sti is Greg, Im the blue wagon. I saw the blue sedan parked across the street as well as both black and white 04-05 wrx's. Also a WRB sti with a slammed front end drove by. Who was in the 06 CGM Wrx that was hard parked over two parking spaces both days like it was a Ferrari?
