hey im tring to figure out which on this is. it has no numbers, and everything on the site looks the same.
It works....that is all I am going to say and you know why I said that. Seriously though, it does hold and hasn't slipped on me yet. Pedal pressure is light and I have gotten use to the chatter. I dunno if I would get another one though.
hoe does the rbv h34 sound is comparison to others, ie whoosh, chirp, short/long, loud when vta. im tring to get a sales pinch or decide to keep it idk. thanks.
turbo xs I had that same BOV and my car ran like crap.. Put the type-rfl on and got it to idle and run pretty good.. just my .02
IMHO all of the Turboxs BOV are crap. You can get the stiffer spring and shim it with washers to get it to keep close at idle. It actually sounds pretty good....a long woooosh when setup correctly.
^^ very true.. It takes alot of adjusting to get it run half way decent. When I put the stock one back on I forgot how nice and smooth my car runs.
^^^ Not always true, 420's running one and his car is very smooth. I'm not sure what kind he has, but he's had it running for some time now and never had issues. I'll be running one in the next couple of weeks, I'll let you know how mine does, too.
THis is my 3rd VTA BOV on my car and it still is not like any of the BPV I had on my car. It actually idles fine it just wants to stall sometimes. I had to use a 9psi spring in my tial plus shim it with a headset spacer to get it to open properly and keeps shut at idle. What spring do you have in your tial?
not sure, it was off 4sevens, installed by TopSpeed. I'm sure SS has a record of it somewhere, as I'm sure I'll have it adjusted when I'm tuned. He was set up for a gt35, and he said he never had problems with it, either
