I went home at lunch around 12:30pm, put a can of Coke in the freezer to take back with me...I forgot it. Will I come home to a huge mess in the freezer? I will get home around 6pm. :unamused:
what part of... I WENT home and I WILL get home, did you not comprehend. for all the brett's out there...pic's WHEN I get home.
what part of this thread is worthless without pics do you not comprehend? for all you matt's out there, you are dumb
No this thread would have been worthless if I said..."OMGWTF...I put a can of coke in the freezer and it exploded!!!!1!one!!" and didn't put a picture. Right now, we are pending pic's of a pending incident/non-incident. :fawk:
I do this all the time, but usually with bottles, never with a can. I love me some Coke Slushy. Never had a bottle explode, but I think the plastic can handle the pressure much better than a can. Can't wait for some interesting pics later tonight.
yeah, I've left a plastic bottle in the freezer before. The top popped of and a frozen snake of coke was coming out. Never left a can before.
at least it's coke and in the freezer...I put a can of beer in the ice tray in my freezer and forgot about it - that was a wreck
and you were wanting to be a NLO at a power plant? calculate how much the volume of water in the can will expand and get back to me, newb. Assume 2F, I'll leave the density and entropy up to you. and don't forget the latent heat involved
Not really...just bored at work and found nukeworker.com; actually looks more boring than what I do now. /runs to look up entropy.
figure out the rate of heat transfer, then the amount of heat required to freeze 12oz of water and you can figure out when your coke will ASSPLODE all over your frigidaire
wait...carbonated water w/ high fructose corn syrup is denser than water, right? Also, do I need to calculate the tensile strength of the aluminum?
That Comcast sucks ass and 6 hours is not enough time for a can of Coke to explode. It was frozen solid...that's it.
DAMNIT - I wanted to see carnage...you won't leave it in there w/ a timer to see how long it actually takes :fawk:  Quick freeze shelf my ass...your freezer sucks
this... and this... freaking hilarious!... glad to know it didn't explode...as we are all disappointed it would have sucked really bad for you!
