Don't forget about push email. Then again...I can just stick with my jailbroken phone with backgrounding, push email, and everything
you need an exchange server for push email atm, jailbroken or not mail2web.com has free accounts. I just forward my gmail to it with certain filters. works great
I am actually more excited about the testing in landscape more than anything. The tiny keyboard pisses me off. Oh and being able to send pics via text is cool too. So I assume if someone sends me a pic thru text, I won't have to go to the stupid picture server....
This is great for those of us that don't want to jailbreak our phones. Remember, stereo bluetooth and MMS will not work on 1st gen phones due to hardware limitations. I had planned on upgrading to the yet to be released 3rd gen iPhone anyway so this will not really effect me.
keep the free POS cell at&t throws at you and buy a 32GB iTouch :fawk: 8GB is just too small to have any real fun with. and if i drop my phone in a puddle, who cares it was FREE! they are also releasing the iPhone to all carriers soon. im excited about the update because i just got the iphone 3g 2 weeks ago and coming from the touch pro its awesome. what im missing from winmo that i used will now be had on the iphone. oh and i jailbroke mine the same night i got it haha.

Don't like about 3/4 of the corp world use the Crackberry? my wife has the new fancy wifi one and it blows! every app has the exact interface. you can't tell what app you're in unless you read the little tiny courier font at the top. the internet looks like the mail which looks like facebook.... ssh:
