so what is shipping for each tire? Shit I bought 2 sets and if Discount would sell them locally it would be Price + tax. I will deal with it when he gets them in, I tried to talk price and he was too busy.

I think shipping will be around $10 a tire.

i got a 15" set for the porsche, $77 per tire is great, shipping ended up being around $36...

These should be a hell of a lot better than my Warior brand tires.

I used to work for a tire MFG, you'd be surprized how little margin there is between whoelsale and retail prices.

I picked mine up today....well, I paid for them and looked at them...He is storing them for me until I actually need tires on my car:) I still have a good amount of tread left on my tires now and just dumped $200 for a new shaved tire because I had a nail in the sidewall. I will probably get them put on this summer.

where do you go to get a tire shaved? Do they measure your old tires first? I might need the service sometime down the road

Anything dealing w/ tires --> GTE

They shaved mine after I had a screw go through the sidewall.

pick up mine tomorrow, anyone have any storage tips? I figure they will be sitting for a few months.

I had the same question since mine will most likely be sitting for a year. Consensus I got was wrap them in garbage bags and put the silica packs in (if you have them...the things that come in new shoe boxes to help soak up moisture. I was going to put mine in the attic, but pEd brought up a good point that the attic will most likely get hot and humid in the summer...therefore, my girlfriend gets to look at my new bedroom decor for the next year :D

btw, any grocery store has a little bucket called "damprid", in the cleaning section. awesome stuff, but you do need to dump the bucket out every few weeks/months because it pulls just that much moisture out of the air.
