Theater will also be providing extra security. Also, the meet parking lot will be marked of for confirmed members only, no one off the street can just come in and park there, only the people on the list. Then once the movie begins, no one other than owners of the cars will be allowed in the meet parking lot (don't get mad if you have to show ur ID/Registration or Insurance Card and get escorted to your car). i'll either still be at road Atlanta or on my way home from there. No desire whatsoever to fight the rice on opening night.
oh shit, can't beat that. If i already didn't plan this out and had people coming out. I would have jumped on those. Good of SOG looking for Suby community. If someone would still like to come just hang out on the 3rd, they are more than welcome to.
it's actually sponsored by SOA (Subaru of AMERICA) http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1729873
So am I to assume that Subaru of kennesaw may also have some tickets, perhaps to a theater around the Barrett parkway area? Steven?
Yea tix are available, you should be able to buy some from Regal's site. They just Doubled the showing for the movie, 2 screens will be playing the movie at same time on 7:30 so 900+ seat available.
They don't send them to you...its a will call thing you do @ the theater. You have to show picture I.D. to pick up the tix...
Thanks for this, I'll be attending as well. I'm guessing the movie starts at 2:20pm and not the event?
damn this meet blew up, so far counting cars from all the forum....over 100+ cars confirmed, expecting at least 150+. Time to get more cops lol.
It was entertaining. Bad acting in some serious parts but there are a ton of driving scenes in this one.
Im about to go see it in a few...got a small group going for the 2:40PM showing. I'll post what I think when I get back.
that showing was TODAY at 2:20....kinda hard to talk about it when we hadn't seen it yet... all in all, there seemed to be about 10 people there. :squint: I enjoyed it. There was more (IMO) plot development than there was product placement and name dropping. That was a bonus for me over the previous 3
I enjoyed the movie overall. There was definitely more domestic cars than imports...that and the suby didnt have much facetime. I didnt realize that this movie took place before the Tokyo Drift movie and fills in a lot of the blanks left from the previous movies...Deff worth seeing if you remotely liked the other films. If you expect a realistic portayal of what the cars are capable of you will be very disappointed. Besides its just a damn movie. Overall pretty intertaining IMO I give it a 7 outta 10
I think it was happening before and around the same time as Tokyo Drift....I don't want to give out a prediction for the 5th, (YES, THERE WILL BE A 5TH) movie based on what I saw at the end of this one...
Yeah^^^ big clue was Han being in this one and alive...that and he left for Tokyo in the middle of this film..
