Anybody interested in doing the 24 hours of lemons sept race? Techlord has the tow truck, I have the car trailer. All that's needed is a $500.00 car, some gas, and beer fueled, sleep deprived idiots to pull this off.
Deadline for entry is July and the fee is $225.00, if 15 people throw in $100.00 each I think we could pull this off

My rv will easily pull a trailer with a race car on it.

 

I think enough interest could be drawn from this crowd to put this together. Thinking we go with a Justy, (not mine) or maybe a SVX with a part time WRX 5-sp swap or a good ole Loyale wagon. Someone had a Brat listed on Craigslist at one point. So keep your eyes and noses open for a cheap beater...

 

Well lets get a gameplan together for this, I'll check with CMP as for attention grabbing attractions for the better halfs and the crumb snatchers if we want to make this a family affair.

Well I'm not sure about number of drivers, but will say that those who contribute most (not just money) will have a leg up in driver spots. If number of drivers outnumber available slots then I'm open to out and out bribes for the slots. That seems fair to me also. I'm only a liberal when it comes to being an unrepentent capitalist.

 

The SVX is way too heavy and putting a 5mt in it will blow the budget.

 

I'm in for sure. I'm good at finding good cheap cars too. (Rally car)

 

I will be there racing, for what its worth... if you haven't already signed up you won't be able to race. The sign up cut off date was a few weeks ago.

If you want to win it takes about 4000-5000 dollars worth of cheating...that will cover entry fees to.

I did it last year...its lots of fun but not as cheap as you would think.
