my front air dam is sagging. pretty sure i haven't hit anything but i was changing my axles yesterday and noticed a gap between my head lights and my air dam. i started looking into it and where the dam attaches to the fender wheels, the rivets are completely ripped out. i haven't started taking anything apart yet but as far as i can tell everything is attached with plastic rivets so i don't think its just a matter of tightening screws. anyone had this same problem? any insight you can give? thanks m

Do you have a front mount? Improper trimming of the front bumper when front mounts are installed can cause them to be stratched out and make those rivets pop out

cant figure out how to post photos on here. i guess i need to upload them somewhere and get a tag but you can see them at this link.

i think if i can find a way to fix the rivets on the fender wheel my air damn might fit a little more snug. you cant really tell how much it sags from the pictures but im kinda anal about these things. is the air damn attached with any screws that i can snug up or just rivets? and has anyone ever replaced a fender wheel?

Your talking about the fender liner not air dam. It looks like its torn (which I guess is normal cuz mine is too). If you drives you nuts try silicone proxy in the crack but I wouldn't worry about it. As for the passenger side, it looks like your screw popped out, you could do it my way and zip tie it, or find another screw. You might have to pull the bumper off to set it right. Or start with the headlight.

My fender liner does not have any of the tabs attached around the wheel well and I have never had any issues. Been like that for at least 3 years now. So basically, based on the first two pictures, you have nothing to worry about there.

As for the gap between your headlight and front bumper, that is a different story, but completely unrelated.

its not hard to replace it but its 50 bucks a piece from subaru.
the gap in your headlight might be cause you snapped a piece of the headlight that is made of plastic and theres a screw that holds it, u can only see when you take off the front bumper.
