My rear end was hit and it looked less severe than that and her insurance company cut me a check for $2K.... Just make a stink about every little scratch on your car and DO NOT tell your insurance company this ever happened.
If you have different insurance from the guy that hit you then that is a good thing. You insurance company doesnt want to pay to fix your car, so they will fight with the other company for you. Court and all usually, specailly if you have one of the bigger companies.
Should be fine. When you go get an estimate on how much it is gonig to cost to fix it go to a body shop that you know well, or somewhere like topspeed to get an estimate. Then when the other guys' company hears about it they will end up giving you more.
