Hi everybody, I just booked a track day test and tune a miata ls6 swap (aka blue monster). There are some slots open and I'd like to invite anyone who would like to join. My only requirement is that you have been to TGP before (to minimize newbie risk). This will be a relaxed day without much structure. There will not be an instructor. No timed laps, no aggressive passing, and not corner workers. Max 3 cars at a time. A total of 8-12 slots available (see below for details). Safety Requirements: Long pants and closed toe shoes Snell 95/M2000 or higher rated helmet No loose cabling or or car body parts If we get 12 drivers, price will be $150. If there are only 8 drivers, price is $200. This is a great deal considering this is more track time than you can shake a stick at! Deposit of $150 will hold your spot. Send paypal to "4sevens" at "gmail" dot com. Please put in the payment comments the following: TGP 6/25 name: phone: forum and forum name: If there are only 8 drivers, I'll need $50 when you arrive. All payments are non-refundable, it is your responsibility to sell your spot if you have paid and cannot make the track day. There is no charge for non-drivers, but you can't leave the track except during lunch and at the end of the day. I will be opening this to several other forums soon, so if you're able to do this don't hesitate. Those attending need to be at the track no later than 8:00am Central time (alabama time). I'd bet my car on it...especially if Jack comes. LS6 miata's are nice, but a procharged z06 on 355 tires wins every day

Wow this looks like it's going to be a fun day. I'm going to have to pick up some slicks and a wing. Does anyone have a gtc-200 to sell and a spare nb miata trunk? What are the stats on the z06?
I think Dan at BG has a spare wing he took off the drift car. Z06 makes 600whp and is on big sticky street tires, hopefully I can get him to buy some pads before the track day.

You're welcome to come join us! Just go off like that civic! If you're seriously consider you'd better quickly jump in. I've got lots of inquiries and I'm not holding any places. Your deposit will hold your place slowwrx - I haven't heard from Jack yet. I'll update the first post as deposits come in.

Haha! Thats a muffler fab place in hiram, ga. There just happens to be 3 miatas there (all with v8's) waiting for the same dual tip exhaust setup.
I thought I recognized that building, Buster and Matt are great guys and they do excellent work. If you want a full custom exhaust there is no one better, they are not cheap however.
Yeah - not cheap. However, we're going to try to get a quantity deal since three v8 miatas are getting the same job done.
