Hey everyone, Kyle here!! Just wanted to finally get around to planning this meet...I've been talking with Alex and Brett and Matt to get something put together. We will be doing a cruise-in car show/meet every 3rd Saturday of the month from 4 pm - whenever/close! Which is perfect since we do team trivia Saturday nights starting at 7:30pm! Come on out! This meet will not be successful without the support of the community, which I appreciate more than you know!! Please send either myself or 2pt5RS a pm if you have any questions!! Where: Manhattan NY Pizza 1560 Indian Trail Road Suite# 115 Norcross 30093 When: Every third Saturday of the month! Why: Why the hell not?? Thanks everyone!!
Yes, buy matt (2pt5RS) beer!! And yes Brett, trivia starts this Saturday at 7:30. Unfortunately, we haven't received our liquor license yet, but it's coming!!
Hey ALL!!! Scoobyiac here, aka the "Pie Guy". Just wanted to remind everyone about the meet this weekend. That is this Saturday May 16th at 4:00PM. I will be raffling off a 25$ Gift Card to S.O.G. and as always, super low prices for all that show up in their beloved Scooby. Also, don't forget that trivia starts at 7:30pm, so bring some smart friends, and get ready to rack your brains. THIS IS THE FIRST EVENT here at Manhattan NY pizza, lets make it a FABULOUS one. Get your car cleaned up, because the Polaroid will be one hand, fully loaded with film. Thanks in advance to all!!!
I'm somewhat new to Atl, live in Vinnings, and I'll probably show up just to hang out with some subie guys and get to know people in the area. Look for me in the blue '02 with a blitz fmic. I'll try to wash the car but I need to find a nice do-it-yourself place. I refuse to pay someone to wash the car for me unless it's February and freezing. Anyone know a nice place?
Boricua Racer, there is actually a do-it-yourself wash about 5 mins from the shop. It is on Buford Hwy, just south of Beaver Ruin road. I know your new, so these names are probably foreign to you, but pm me, and I will give you crystal clear directions. Can't wait to see another front mount!!
Good time, will def make it out again. Big thanks to Kyle for the pizza and showing us the Gumby video... ha! Just to share, below is a link to my dyno vid from back home in Wilmington, NC. Some had asked how much I put down and I figured I would share the vid to back it up. Hope to hang out again soon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxJWNrNRZ6o
and here I was thinking you didnt even make it out!! good times, thanks for making this successful...lets keep it going!!
:wavey: Yeah, I don't know many on here personally, so I wasn't much of a talker. I'll be there next time too.
yes, but they are all on the walls of the restaurant. I think Aaron (dundunskeert) took a few...or maybe it was Austin (Oz10)
Yeah I took a few. I'll get them edited and posted probably sometime tomorrow. I'll definitely be at the next meet too. It was nice meeting everybody.
Here's a few pictures from the meet. I didn't take many and these are pretty crappy, but I figured I'd post them anyways... Can you tell I liked the twin turbo swap? GC FTW!!! I'll definitely take more pictures next time.
This is what I am talking about!!!! 12 cars and the majority of them were pre-bug-eye. The classics ruled the day. Next time we need more post bugeye to keep the ratio even. I want to THANK everyone that showed!!! This was awesome. I will congrats to Austin, Oz10, for winning the 25$ S.O.G. gift certificate. Put it to good use my friend. Next time there will be another raffle, and it will be a different item. A reminder that trivia starts at 7:30ish the same night, some come prepared to stay all night. I TRULY CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!! I shed a tear that day, a tear of joy!!!
Hey all. The time is drawing near. This Saturday, is the second monthly Subaru meet up at Manhattan Pizza. We had a great turn out last month, let's do it again. I have free BRAVES tickets to raffle off this week, so fire up that boxer and make the drive. Don't forget, discounted prices to the whole Subaru family. I look forward to it.
