Killer B Ultimate Oil Pickup Groupbuy - Say NO to Oil Pickup Failure!

The Ultimate Oil Pickup is the latest in robust engineered oil pickup design. See the illustration below for design detail. This design has come from customer driven requests for an Oil Pickup that removes all of the flaws of the OEM unit and adds a substancial amount of toughness.

The Ultimate Oil Pickup builds upon the experience and success of the “Rugedized” Oil Pickup so you can rest easy knowing it will fit as intended. Made entirely from steel using modern manufacturing methods to assure quality, fit and function, and as always made entirely in the USA.

A minimum 50% deposit is required to buy into this group buy. 10 units must have a deposit by the ship date for group buy pricing to take affect. Once fabrication is completed the remaining balance will need to be paid before the unit will ship. All units will ship insured UPS ground. Total Group Buy cost is $195.00 Shipped.

Please PM me with any questions you may have.

This is just for the WRXAtlanta Members please don't post this on other forums.

Matt I will get one but I need to close on this house I'm trying to buy first. We ran into a few legal snags that has to get ironed out but I will chime back in when we close and get moved in.

I am not, but I do not see why we cannot work something out with Killer B. Approximately how many people are interested in this? I would imagine if we can swing 5 we will have some decent bargaining power -- we could even offer to make a small down payment towards his upcoming oil pan to sweeten the deal.

I was about to order one and I remembered this thread. I'll wait a little while to help get the # up, but not too long. I'd be pissed if it snapped while I'm waiting.

Eddie and I make two on the list... I'd say Drew, but...

How much would labor for installing a pickup tube typically run?

(I'm practicing/learning wrenching skills on my old car but not so-much on the sti)

probably a couple hours, but it's pretty easy. Just drain your oil, unbolt the pan (there's probably 10 or so bolts that are kinda a PITA, then put the new pickup tube in. There's a good write up on nabisco, I believe...I saw the link somewhere in a thread on here.

    Edit: Found it

If we're still talking $200, and we can get these in
a reasonable timeframe include me as a buyer.

When details firm up let me know how I should pay.

    Matt,

I spoke with him earlier today about this. Give me a call -- if you want to arrange the GB that's fine, otherwise I have the go ahead on my end from him as well.

I called Chris as well, seems to be a good guy.

I'm in if we are near the group of 5 needed and can get this group buy
finalized in the next week or two.

After reading up on this a bit more I think an improved
    pick-up is a must.

I don't want to play Russian roulette with my motors
longevity due to something stupid like a likely
    manufacturers defect.

    Here's a YouTube video I found, and I hope it's not a repost.

Looks like from the video it must have been a run of parts that had brittle metal or something because the new one they got and tested seemed to hold up to a LOT.
