Alright guys this is a 2005 Lexus LS430 Black Exterior with a lot of Swirls in it. We used a medium cut compound and a high speed buffing. Check out the before & after!
Detailer states that the standard orbital tool doesn't have the cutting power that the rotory has. Oribital's are good for generic buffing. The Rotary that we use has the power to heat the clear coat to the temperature necessary for paint correction.
Yup and I would not recommend randomly picking up a Rotary and trying this at your house. You can easily burn your clear/paint if you dont know what you are doing. That car looks great! How much do you charge for a high speed buff?
For something like this Lexus which needed a lot of work. And being the color black. Probably about $150-$175.00
I know the reason, just wanted to see what you had to say. I would disagree about a RO not having the cutting power, though
My miata ate a cone at a recent track day, no panel deformity but it needs some buffing out the passenger side. Trey, give me a call
^^ yo alex... you're right, however, this is how it came back from the bodyshop. they had their detailer buff it and did a terrible job. i couldn't leave it like that since im looking to sell the car.
It really depends if the whole car needs to be buffed etc. If it's the whole car prolly looking around $150-175
