I'm tired of the polished lip on my rims. So I'm going to get them powder coated. I will not get new rims.....these are staying. I LOVE the rims but want to do a different color. Not going to do anything WILD like lime green, orange or some of the other stupid suggestions that have been made. Also want to go away from black....my last two looks were black wheels. So what would WRXAtl think would look killer? Bronze, gun metal, gold, white (mixed feelings about that but was told it would look hot).

I like a nice dark bronze on white. Otherwise I would keep it the way it is, looks nice. Good thing you said you were keeping the wheels in your first sentence, or i would have called dibs.
I think I'm going for a dark bronze. I'm painting the entire rim....lip center section and all. Then I'm thinking of using blue extended lugs to match the other blue accents on the car (Sti interior, FMIC couplers, etc).
That doesn't make you a ricer.....I hate that term anyways. Do what 'you' like on your car....the heck with what others think. Reason why I don't want polished lip is there are two other locally already gold with polished lips. Kinda want mine different if that makes sense. No bronze anywhere around here
Ughhh I just can't see that looking hot. I saw pics of white BBS on white car. HOT but I think how easily dirty they would get would bug me.
honestly I like the white on white. Sti's seem to pull it off nicely. There is a member on here with white advan's I believe and it looks hot. but x2 on keeping them dirty

Gunmetal i think would look good. Honestly it all preference, what ever you like. Gold or bronze would look good as well. Find someone who is good with photoshop and see what you like the best on your car.
Yeah that's what I'm trying to do. I suck at photoshop but in my defense I've never dabbled with it much (like only 2-3 times trying to recolor my entire car).
Very hot. Did you paint them or where they like that from the factory? My local powdercoater has shut down. No one else nearby. So I'm looking into painting them the right way.
White would look cool, but I think you need more spokes to pull it off. Id like to see you drop that polished lip and try out something like the Prodrive "British Black".
