I'm doing a track day soon and my axxis pads are not gonna cut it. I like hawk pad but would rather get some ebc reds as I have been really impressed by them. Can any point me to somewhere I can get them? Thanks, Aaron
Wirelessly posted (My Phone) http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A3071A0A0.aspx?kc=ffproduct I have them on my car...they aren't bad at all. A little squeeky and be careful in the rain...you need to pump the brakes once before they will catch. Then again...I am on stock rotors.
I've run them before and was extremely pleased with them. It looks like that place only has the rears in stock for my car... I need fronts:unamused: Thanks for the link though.

Reds suck, get the Carbotechs, I think all the vendors on here can get them and I think BG was keeping them in stock last time I checked
TS, BG, Zen, most all can get them. I think I paid over 300 for all 4 corners. I can't remember the price exactly but I remember clearly how well they stopped.
Damn $300 is a bit much for me. I'll just stick with reds I've had a good experience with them already. I did a mountain run on my new axxis ultimates, they had no bite and when I got to the bottom all four of my brakes were pouring smoke. I'm making brake ducts and removing my dust sheilds and putting on braided brake lines and reds soon. Any other tips?
i had the greens on my wrx before i upgraded the brakes. they were good DD/spirited driving pads, but i went through them SUPER FAST. when i upgraded the brakes i had stock '06 wrx front calipers and pads and HP+s out back the Hawks were NOISY as hell, but the brake setup was way better than the EBC greens
I just bought xp12 fronts, they were ~$275 new and worth every penny. I'm running xp10's in the back, but those pretty much have a lifetime guarantee...I drive like a maniac and they're still at 90% I know it initially sounds expensive, but you get what you pay for. For me at a track day, if I'm doing 120+ down a straight before having to brake to 40mph or hit a wall, it's a simple solution for me...brakes are the last thing I want to think about at the track ...especially when I'm blowing shit up...
+1 on spending the extra money on Hawk or Carbotech... if you call carbotech directly and mention a certain phrase, you can get 10% off your order.
I have had the Hawk HP+ and have the Carbotech Panther Plus (XP 10s) on my car now. From s DD street stand point I think I like the Hawk pads better. They bite just as well and are a little quiter than the carbotechs. The carbotechs are a better track pad since I have not gotten them to fade yet.
If you call Batlground and tell Travis that Matt said "Eat a dick give me 10% off you racing crack whore"....I hear they will give you 10% off.
