Fender rolling

Hey, just got new wheels and tires on and im getting some rubbage in the back so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where i can go and get the fenders rolled this weekend? thanks!

 

i think zen motors does it and i know a new member, OutaFocus, great guy has a fender roller and he is in acworth...

 

I see. I saw a zen motors post, and it was talking about $80 an hour...i thought that was a little to much thought. But OutaFocas knows how to do it??? i will actually be right near acworth tomorrow....

if its not scrubbing too bad just use a wooden baseball bat to get it rolled a little bit

I was thinking about doing it myself...ive never done it before and ive read it could require some time that right now i just dont have. I have read about the baseball bat and heat gun DIY though....

How much is the price at Zen Motors??

Ohh thats right...it was $80. They seem like a respectable place to go too but that price is a little way over what im looking to spend. I was looking around the $45 price range...

 

i know there is a guy on craigslist that rents his fender roller out but he is in fairburn... try pm'ing outafocus... he let me use his lift and everything and showed me how to do it when i did my buddies car... sure he would take some beer or something for the use

I got my fenders rolled now...but i dont think they did a good job. Im still getting some rubbing in the back on turns and some bumps. Idk if it was from them not rolling them good enough or still bc of my tires....

 

Might need a slight pull...are they rolled flat?

They seem pretty flat, but honestly i think they can go just a little bit more. Idk if i need to get a slight pull or not...i guess i have to take it to get it looked at. I actually went and got them rolled for $50 dollars are Nicolas Body Shop, a few weeks ago. It was in Gainesville somewhere. I also heard that getting the fenders pulled is pretty expensive???

 

the price is based on the work. pulling fenders isnt hard but easy to screw up

I would but im out of the country right now until the 21st...so if theres anytime after that i could come in to get it looked at atleast, ill definitely be coming by.

 

I'm picky as hell with body stuff and Zen did an excellent job on mine, if they're cutting you a deal jump on it.
