So I am driving home tonight and see something flash on my ODO, I didnt catch it and all I saw was "LL" in the middle 2 digits. So I kept watching it the entire way home to see if it did it again. Sure enough it did do it again, 1LL.3 showed in the trip ODO area instead of my trip ODO distance. There is no check engine light, and I cant find 1LL.3 under the CEL codes so...

What the hell is this "1LL.3" thing in my trip ODO?

It can also mean that your motor is going to implode and turn into a black hole.

It stands for Illumation stage 3. There are stages 1-5. 1 being the dimmest and 5 being the brightest.

were you playing any classic 80s rap? If you had some RUN cranking, there is an ILLNESS detector in the car

haha... Sometimes this happens when my passenger doesnt take their motion sickness meds when riding during a mountain run. True story.

Happens a lot on the Legacy GT's. The only real fix is to replace the switch. Freaked Deborah out the first time it happened. It can do it on its own without even touching the switch, but it is not really anything more than an annoyance.
