I bought a C-West Style Front Lip from Digital Nemesis about 2 years ago and it has been sitting in my guest bedroom since then. His car was Red, so I need to get the lip painted.

Me being the broke guy that I am right now can't afford to take the lip to someone to get it painted professionally, so I thought that maybe after all this time I would stop being lazy and get it on my car.

This brings me to today. I decided to try to find WRB paint in a Spray Can. Expresspaint.com has you select the car Make, Model and Year, and then shows all the paint colors available. They list WRB as paint code 02c which I know is correct from other threads here.

They then give you the option to pick how you want the paint. 1oz Touchpen, 3oz Touchup Jar, 11oz Aerosol (add $10). Aerosol is perfect, just what I am looking for, so for $24 I can get an 11oz Spray Can of WRB paint.

I am just wondering if anyone has gotten Spray paint from them and if it matches well. Or, does anyone have another suggestion of where I can get WRB in a Spray Can?

It is all in the prep work. If you do a good job at prepping it, the rattle can won't look to bad. I would contact Breel and see if he can give you a hook a brother up discount.

I know it is all in the prep work, but, if the paint in Spray form is not really WRB, then no matter how much prep work I do, it won't look good. I just want to know if anyone has ever tried their paint in Spray form to advise whether it is a good color match or not.

the good thing about paint is that if you screw up, you can always sand it down and paint it again. especially on a single piece like the lip vs a whole car.

i say try it. if it looks like shit you dont have to put it on your car you can wait till you have the money to get it professionally done and you're only out the money you spent on the spray

Let me know when you plan on doing this. I would like to help and maybe learn a little something for when I decide to fix my small rash.

I need my hoodscoop painted as well. Was going to include that if I do it myself. The list just keeps piling up. Hopefully we can work something out with someone with all the people that want to get paint done.

I would never take a rattle can to any part of my car, but that's just me. It does not matter if you painted the Sistine Chapel before, a rattle can will never match the original paint.

After Petit, it looks like I am have the front bumper repaired/sprayed as well (whoops). I will call Artcraft on Monday for everyone and see what I can do...If I do call, you must commit to this and not back out on me, then we all just look like a bunch of idiots.

    420 - Front Lip & Hoodscoop
    Axel - Hoodscoop
nicad - Lots of small things :)

I know it would be a good ride for a couple of you but the small parts wouldn't be to hard to do at the shop. Having a mix done for a two stage paint and materials would probably run around $150.00 and have enough to fix a couple of screw ups.
