    VS.

I'm in a debate with someone regarding the similarities to the 2 vehicles. He says they are identical. I don't see it. To me, the Malibu Maxx is a clone to an Impreza wagon :unamused:

Just one more design GM borrowed from Subaru when they were part owners.

    thoughts?

I see the similarities, but honestly, make it a "V" version and
I'd drive the ever living hell out of it.

    Nah. Sport wagons are stupid.

I think it's close enough that they could make them out of each other, but it'd probably take more changes and money to do that so I'm going to say different.

The caddy looks more aggressive? Would that be a fair observation?

And now I understand when my Brother-In-Laws dad tells me about his old CTS and the horrible quality of the interior. If it is based on the same platform as the Malibu Maxx, that would explain everything.

the CTS' dont hold their values for shit. you can get an 06 CTS (V6) w/ less than 50k for well under $10k

and i wouldnt be the least bit surprised if they had identical chassis, just diff suspension, drivetrain, etc.

oh yeah dont get me wrong the CTS-V's are hott. and the CTS styling is great. the V6's just dont hold their values as wel as the V-8 V's
