Ok, so I have a set of rims that I just aquired. One wheel has a small curb on the inside of the wheel. Doesnt look that bad, the tire will still hold air, but it has hella vibration issues, annoying. I have called Metrowheels (mistake) and they charge threw the roof for fixing the rim 115 a wheel. Sence it is on the inside of the rim, I dont care about scratches or anything, as long as the wheel is striaght. Talked to a buddy of mine and he gave me a guys name in downtown, called him and he wanted 100 bucks!

Anyone know someone who can straighten wheels? I am trying to find it under 75 bucks.

    threw = throwing
    through:

    1. in at one end, side, or surface and out at the other: to pass through a tunnel; We drove through Denver without stopping. Sun came through the window.
    2. past; beyond: to go through a stop sign without stopping.
    3. from one to the other of; between or among the individual members or parts of: to swing through the trees; This book has passed through many hands.
    4. over the surface of, by way of, or within the limits or medium of: to travel through a country; to fly through the air.
    5. during the whole period of; throughout: They worked through the night.
    6. having reached the end of; done with: to be through one's work.
    7. to and including: from 1900 through 1950.

Sence is not a word. Since is what you are looking for.

$100 sounds like a deal. I'd do that. Under $75 and the quality might not be standard and that's NOT something you want to risk.

I'm going to be your human dictionary :)

How do you figure its a good deal, cause its only a difference of 15 bucks? I just dont understand how it costs that much, serious it probably like 30-45 mins a work if that, plus they want to keep it for days. Anyone else heard of anything?

Like i siad it doenst have to be pretty its the inside of the wheel, dont see it unless I am working on it. I just want it to be straight, no wobble.

regardless of how little time it takes, it's a meticulous job and not any schlemiel off the streets can do the work. man up and pay the money

Why not pay $100 instead of under $75.00 that's only $25.00. Dude,
$15.00 is like a happy meal each for all my three kids for the ride downtown to get my wheel fixed.
    ;)

Metrowheels uses a machine to straighten the wheels to make it true. Not sure how other companies do it.

Yeah. How happy are you gonna be if you get it done cheaper and the wheel is still bent.Wheel Wizard was the only company that I ever dealt with that could actually straighten a wheel,Though Metro wheels does a darn good job.

    Wirelessly posted

Metro wheels is the place you take your problematic volks to. They are damn near the best that I know of in the state.

You need to keep in mind that not every bent wheel can be fixed.

So I got a guy up here in Canton, Automotive Enhancements, to do the work. I highly recommend them, they do great work, there prices are very reasonable, and they were extremely nice, and they did the work in 1 1/2 days. I dropped off the wheel late Friday night, and they had it ready late Sunday night.
